Day Three ride was from Taos, NM to Durango, CO. A short stretch of 200 miles that would take us just over 4 hours driving straight but with stops for gas and lunch it would take us nearly six hours.
On the way we did Route 64 which is a beauty out of Taos, stop at the Rio Grande Gorge, have lunch at Chama, NM and drive through Pegosa Springs in Colorado.
It was so far the best day of riding yet and it felt good when we arrived at Durango to see the sign "Welcome to the Mountains".
